While recording in Tracktion with the ProFX mixer, follow these specific steps:.In Tracktion’s settings/Audio i/o tab, select “ASIO” for the audio device type, and “ASIO4ALLv2” for the device.Click on the ASIO4ALL icon on the system tray, In the ASIO4ALL window that appears, click on the grey rectangle that appears to the left of the “USB Audio CODEC” entry.ASIO4ALL will automatically launch into the Windows system tray. To use ASIO4ALL, select “ASIO” as the device type, within Tracktion, for your audio hardware.Once the installer is downloaded, double click the installer file to install the ASIO4ALL application.Click here to download the installer for ASIO4ALL.Since one is not bundled with the Mackie mixer, it is necessary to use the 3rd party “ASIO4ALL” driver. On Windows machines, the mixers work best when used with an ASIO driver.
